Journal- Day 11, and I am late getting here, but I made it...so there :P
I did strike my 1000 word daily goal for my novel, and I did sketch the remainder of the story in a very rough form. And I did jack off a lot of the day. Honestly- I nearly took the day off all together, but then I got to feeling bad about it and decided to fire some words off, which actually felt good. I jumped right back in my groove and absorbed the energy.
Or some such shit.
As it was, even with making the goal, I didn't get a complete scene, which leads me to yesterday's passage and hoe the length of it made the chapter about 16 pages long. Now, I have a set-up for my manuscript that was suggested by several sources: Courier New, Font Size is 12, and the page margins are 1-1/2" top and bottom. and 1" on both sides.
Based on that set-up; Pages per chapter should be 10-12- according to the sources. There were word count totals and blah blah blah. Page totals will be enough to ask this question of you folks:
Is a chapter over at page 12, or is it over when it's over?
Enjoy!
Word Count: 19975
