Day 9 of my journal and I am happy to report that this is  driving into the stage of addiction. Even though I am late getting to this today, I made it a priority, and that act alone felt good. I really didn't think I would stick with this, and maybe I won't, but for now- it's all go, go, go!

The word count is about half of my goal. I throttled the count for yesterday for good reason- as I started that important scene, I realized I was going to need to perform some well constructed magic, and the hours were running out, so I decided to opt for putting it away, rather than half writing it and then picking it back up again today. I want my thoughts to flow and be focused for this scene- even if this is a rough draft.

Tonight, I will clear everything and write this portion of the story. I have been thinking about how to pull it off all day, making notes, and acting the scene out (c'mon, you do it too). With any luck, I'll blow past my 1000 word a day goal with this passage.
