It's day 8 for the journal- the start of week two. I can honestly say that I have never taken a journal this deep and I have YOU to thank for it. You wonderful folks who stop in and read this daily are helping me stay on task and aiding me gain accountability.

I did get a late start and late finish yesterday, but I made my goal of 1000 words a day in my novel. But all the self induced fanfare was quickly deflated when I think back to the show last night at EWNN. Howard Adamsky told us he wrote his 60,000 plus word book in 23 days. That's steaming right along...WOW.

 

Today, I have gone back to repair some damaged prose, and will start a sketch of an outline for the rest of the book later on. But the meat of this exercise---the 1000 words---will came later and hard. I am about to write a crucial character in and this one...this one cannot miss.
